The short version
Aqua Play has no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising profile. What you listen to, what you save and anything you write stays on your device. Tapping Accept confirms you have read this page and agree to the terms below.
Aqua Play is a music player. It renders its catalogue on the device and provides listening tools — visualisers, an equaliser, a sleep timer, playlists and a private listening journal.
The following is written to your device's own storage and is not transmitted to us:
Removing the app removes all of it.
Used to deliver reminders you choose to schedule, and service messages related to the app. Nothing is scheduled unless you ask for it. You can revoke this at any time in your device's Settings.
Used only inside the Artwork Studio, when you choose to photograph a cover for a playlist. Frames are cropped and stored on the device. The camera is not accessed at any other time.
Used only when you pick an existing picture as cover art, or save a cover you made back to your library. Limited access is fully supported — the picker only ever sees the items you select.
Declared for room-aware audio features. It is not used to record, store or transmit audio.
If you allow notifications, the app registers a push token with its messaging provider so that messages can be delivered. A random installation identifier is generated on first run and stored in the device keychain. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, contacts or any advertising identifier, and it is not sold or shared for advertising.
Some content, including this page, is displayed inside the app in a web view. Standard server logs may record the usual technical details of a request — approximate region, device type and the time of the request. This page sets no cookies of its own.
Aqua Play does not include third-party analytics SDKs, does not build advertising profiles, does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Aqua Play is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
The app and its content are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the app or its content. The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
This page may be updated. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised version. The date at the top reflects the current revision.
